Awards
Throughout high school, I entered my videos into a variety of competitions.
The Kansas Scholastic Press Association (KSPA) holds a journalism competition for high school students each year. Students compete
in categories including writing, layout design, photography and videography against other schools in their class. All students are
given the same prompt and awards are given based on the best execution of the prompt.
The Kansas Association of Broadcasters (KAB) also holds a statewide competition for high school and undergraduate students. Students
can submit audio and video projects to be judged against all other students in the state. The projects can be of any subject matter
but must fit under the critiera of various categories.
